Within their world

ay_link October 24th, 2008

KBS just released new promotional posters for their upcoming (very high-hoped) drama, starring Full House’s very own drama queen, Song Hye Gyo and the Snow Queen’s prince, Hyun Bin. This will be their first collaboration that has been on the spotlight these past few weeks. The station even aired the special last Tuesday, in order to prep TV viewers to stay tuned this coming Monday night at 9:55PM (Korea time).

Congrats Jumuchi & Dalbi! ^^

ay_link October 18th, 2008

To those of you who watched “Tae Wang Sa Shin Gi” (Legend/The Great Four Gods) last year, WOOHOO! Jumuchi and Dalbi are MARRIED!  FOR REAL! Both of them are currently working with MBC 45th anniversary drama, East of Eden.

Gosh, I still remember how I loved these two so much while watching TWSSG.  Their chemistry was undeniable and pretty “sizzling”, hehe. No wonder!  What a love on location~  And this must be what they call FATE. So destined to be together and by being ‘coupled’ in the drama made them closer together though Jumuchi and Dalbi did indeed get married in TWSSG.   Today I see pictures of their colleagues who came to their wedding, their co-stars, people who worked with them on the set such as Bae Yong Joon and Lee Phillip.  Surely a great reunion for all of them.  Congrats, Jumuchi & Dalbi! Erm, I mean 박성웅-신은정 forever!)

Kingdom of the Wind OST

ay_link October 16th, 2008

As predicted before, the ever talented musical genius Wheesung got the honor of singing Muhyul &  Yeon’s love theme song for KBS2 epic drama “Kingdom of the Wind” OST.  He is known as the musical genius and composer of a few popular artists named today (DBSK, Shin Hye Sung, SHINee, etc.)

The song (Track 3) was composed by Park Geun Tae and written by Kang Eun Kyung.  The producers of the original soundtrack said that the song has been getting a favorable response from both K-pop fans and drama fans ever since it first aired on September 18.

(Was it on Episode 4? When Muhyul sneaks in to see Yeon in action, helping the sick.  Very mesmerizing scene and of course, Wheesung’s voice makes all the difference… hehe… that song just caught my ears right on =)

Today, the whole soundtrack has been unleashed and as predicted, I love every single bits and pieces of it.  Awesome OST + Wheesung’s powerful vocal, what possibly can go wrong? :)

Complete OST list after the jump~

Bittersweet love story

ay_link October 14th, 2008

No doubt, this scene was the best of Episode 15.

The despair, the longing, the love, the hesitant heart, the suspense of suppressing its love towards the woman he has been secretly cared for. Dong Chul has chosen to stand by his choice, to keep Young Ran at arms length, in order to fulfill his promise to President Guk (Young Ran’s father).

How will this bittersweet love story continue from now on?

Han Ji Hye’s “East of Eden” family

ay_link October 11th, 2008

I’ve been trying to keep up with the pace of “East of Eden”, the MBC over-budget, all-star power anniversary project. And so, I’ve been watching it backwards. Yup, after watching the first 2 episodes, I jumped to episode 10, then to 14, and 13, and back to 12. LOL. But no worries, if you have managed the first 2 episodes, and skipped to the 10th episode, you can still catch up and save yourself some bloody episodes (literally bloody. Song Seung Hoon got beat up here and there, though it’s all cosmetics, but still. :P)

Well, in this show, you can say from all the girls, Han Ji Hye can totally steal the limelight. Her performance as Ji Hyun is amazingly good. So I’m pretty psych when I first saw these pictures from the news. Han Ji Hye with her co-stars, Jo Min Ki (who plays as her father-in-law) and her on-screen admirer/stalker/obsessed husband, Myung Hun (played by Park Hae Jin).

Who knew they could be so close and goofing around in their PJs? keke…
