Brian did a Korean version of Jason Deluro “In My Head”

Apparently, after unsuccessful attempt to make a deep impact with his last single “My Girl”, Brian is now coming back with a new cover of the Korean version from Jason Derulo’s “In My Head”.

Some may have heard that Wheesung did a special cover of Craig David’s “Insomnia”, and it turned out to be a great hit with listeners all over the world. This may seems as if Brian is following Wheesung’s footsteps. Will it be as successful as “Insomnia”? I’m afraid it won’t be, after listening to the song itself.

Fly To The Sky Brian has been preparing for his 2nd album, and now we finally got to see how his album jacket will look like~ pretty cool~ can’t wait for the album!

Brian reveals his 2nd solo album’s CD cover

His 2nd album after three years will finally be ready soon. Today, he released pictures of from the album jacket, which from his Twitter announcement, his 2nd solo album will be ready for public on December 10.

This album will be different than his first solo album, which will breakthrough his image as the ‘ballad singer’ from Fly To The Sky. There will be some ‘club music’ to challenge to add a new genre to this upcoming album, “Manifold.” The jacket picture has him with new hair style, “Black & Red” theme, matched well with a strong feeling of ’steel shot’ composed.

Brian is also considering an international release of three songs, sung in English. And a total of 13 tracks will be in this 2nd album. The three English songs will be available through iTunes music library for his US and Canada fans.

Following BOA’s success in the US, Sony Music Japan officially invited Brian and his English track songs to be published entirely through iTunes. According to Sony Music rep, Brian’s excellent skills in communication and experience as well as his vocal talent will be a great asset for him to break through the US markets. That is enough for him to have the star qualifies to embark his new journey through “Manifold’.

It’s so good to see them together again like this. It’s been a while since their last stage performance back in March. Love live, Fly To The Sky!

Hwanhee & Brian are together again on SBS variety show “Strong Heart” (강심장) hosted by Kang Ho Dong and Lee Seung Ki. The episode aired last night, October 27 at 11:00 pm, Seoul time.

During the episode, Hwanhee had a confession that during his time in Fly To The Sky under SM Entertainment, he never liked being in one of those SM Town Family concert. It was a ‘painful’ experience to go through, and I’m sure he’s surely glad to be able to stand on his own now – with a new album and all. Congrats, Hwanhee!

And Brian was there for him also, showing the deep friendship that they’ve shared all this time. Hwanhee told the audience and both MCs, Kang Ho Dong and Lee Seung Ki that he was kind of surprise to see Brian, as he came visit him in his dressing room, right before his first comeback performance on MBC Music Core last weekend. When Brian surprised Hwanhee in his room, he revealed their deep friendship by saying that they have been ‘breathing together for 10 years’ and that he wanted to give him his best encouragement for Hwanhee’s first solo album. As a warmth gesture, not only they shook hands, but according to Brian’s sharing, they also gave each other a hug.

Hwanhee told us that it was kinda weird standing alone on stage for the first time. “I was so nervous at first, but after seeing Brian, his visit gave me a big force to move onwards.” When Brian was doing his solo performance for his first solo album, it felt almost the same also like Hwanhee’s experience. Hwanhee also visited Brian before his first broadcast. (Awww….)

The two members were performing live together again for the SBS “Strong Heart”, and as they both sang live, it clears up all the misunderstanding about Fly To The Sky’s disbanded and other false rumors about these two buddies.

Koyote Baek Ga’s exhibition “The FACES” featuring famous faces

Singer-turned-photographer Baek Sung Hyun (Koyote Baek Ga) held a collection of 23 photographs last night May 11 at 7pm at Park Chul’s VOID art center, Cheongdam – Seoul.

Recently, famous singer Rain (Jung Ji Hoon) published his pictorial done by Baek Sung Hyun himself, and was kinda an introduction to the whole “faces” theme.  “THE FACES” exhibition includes fellow actors and actresses as well as models and singers such as Fly To The Sky Hwanhee & Brian, K.Will, Wheesung, Eru, Hwangbo, Eugene, V.O.S Kim Kyung Rok, S.E.S Shoo, Yoon Gun, So Yu Jin, Bae Soo Bin, Yoo Ah In and model Lee Pani.

Due to Koyote Kim Jong Min’s military duty absence, Baek Sung Hyun pursued his passion as a professional photographer. He’s also the chief owner of Baek Sung Hyun’s studio ‘스튜디오 바이 100’ (Studio by100)
