I look but nothing’s here
This searching of what I am becoming isn’t clear
But You never give me up

All my failures
And all the mess I make
can never separate me from the love You give
Your plan has no mistakes

I hear Your voice,
and that’s enough for me to rise again
I will rejoice, in perfect strength I gain

Even through the storms and crashing waves
The goodness of my God will keep me safe
So I’m taking steps on the water,
for Your hand is holding me

Every move I make will testify
Your miracles that none can deny
So I’m taking steps on the water
I no longer am afraid, You are with me

All my failures
And all the mess I make
can never separate me from the love You give
Your plan has no mistakes

I hear Your voice,
and that’s enough for me to rise again
I will rejoice, in perfect strength I gain

Even through the storms and crashing waves
The goodness of my God will keep me safe
So I’m taking steps on the water
For Your hand is holding me

Every move I make will testify
Your miracles that none can deny
So I’m taking steps on the water
I no longer am afraid, You are with me

Bridge:
Jesus, You wipe the tears away
Now I see it’s a brand new day
Jesus, You are the only way
I’ll trust and obey

Even through the storms and crashing waves
The goodness of my God will keep me safe
So I’m taking steps on the water
For Your hand is holding me

Every move I make will testify
Your miracles that none can deny
So I’m taking steps on the water
I no longer am afraid,
Yes I’m taking steps on the water
I no longer am afraid,
You are with me (yes You are with me Lord…)

Tim’s voice is indeed so soothing and never fails to impress me :)

What a great way to reach out to people.  He includes this song as the last track of “Love is…” (Tim’s 4th album, released Fall last year)
Bravo, Tim!

MBC “My Woman” and Tim

ay_link August 21st, 2008

For the past few days, I’ve been watching this fairly new MBC weekend drama (replacing La Dolce Vita), called 내여자 (My Woman). At first, I was eyeing this because of the casts (especially Park Jung Chul <3 and Park Sol Mi, since this drama is Park Sol Mi’s comeback drama after so long. Was it 2003? SBS “All In”, I think.)

But little did I know, this quite hottie-not-too-flashy-handsome-yet underrated “stone” prince (lol) with the name of Go Joo Won

Why the “stone”? Well, 내여자 My Woman” is my first encounter with him, but from reading lots of ‘encouraging’ comments about his bad acting and whatnot, I’m sure those comments are meant as a constructive one. But I’d rather see it as there are rooms for improvements, but Go Joo Won is definitely not that bad. I’ve seen a lot worst, and they don’t come back to TV screens every now and then.

And after watching the first 6 episodes, though I can’t really point it out the single element of why I love this drama, but all the cast above (from left to right: Choi Yuh Jin, Go Joo Won, Park Sol Mi, Park Jung Chul) did one heck of a great job in potraying each of their characters. Script-wise, it is a bit shaky, but acting-wise and character-realization-wise, they nailed it. Choi Yun Jin is the perfect nagging, whiny bitch. The fiance-grabber, but her character is strong and very determined. She doesn’t waver and keeps her focus straight. Go Jo Won’s role is perfect for him in term of how he is potrayed as the smart, yet naive and stiff, and super nice guy… and did I mention naive? His character is quite different. It makes you think, “Is he that dumb? Gosh I wanna smack him silly!” LOL.

And I can go on and on and on about him, but I’d have to change the title as “My Man Go Joo Won” Hahahaha. JK! Park Jung Chul’s performance is also very different than his previous SBS drama, “Blue Fish”. Being the smart@ss baddie, playboy’ish guy suits him just fine~ :D And lastly, Park Sol Mi’s character is the heroine protagonist. Meaning that she’s the root of all problems. LOL. I still haven’t made my decision whether to hate her or sympathize with her.

What so good about 내여자 My Woman” beside “The Drama” itself is the soundtrack. Its OST album seems to be very well-composed, classic and elegant. Of course, Tim’s voice is definitely added more plus points. His calm and soothing voice fits perfectly into theme song, “At the world’s end” (lyrics will be at the end of this post) *though Tim does remind me a lot of Alex. Both grew up outside of Korea, fluent in English, and both wear earrings :P*

The love theme song is called 세상 끝에서 (At the world’s end/At the end of the world). It tells a story of a guy, who falls madly in love with his girl, only losing her at the end but yet still waiting for her to come back. (First love never dies?) And the drama itself isn’t bad after all. Really surprised me as to how much I’m hooked on this one, when nothing seems to hold my interest these past few weeks, except “We Got Married” :D

So here we go, before I blabber too much about the drama itself - well, beside that it has all the intriguing elements a Korean drama can have - First love, Rich family business (they deal with shipyard - yes, shipyard. They build HUGE, BIG SHIPS. So can you imagine how rich they are? - Choi Yuh Jin and Park Jung Chul’s characters are siblings), and of course there are the element of Lust, Jealousy, Deception, and of course, Romance. 내여자 My Woman” is for sure not your typical prime-time, weekdays K-dramas that have been airing these past few months.
