Clazziquai & I LOVE ASIA

“I LOVE ASIA” is a collaboration fundraising project to help the victims of Sichuan earthquake last May. Organized by Jackie Chan and JYP, this project involved many Korean actors-actresses, athletes, and singers such as Jo Sung Mo, Alex & Horan (Clazziquai), Park Yong Ha, Brown Eyed Girl, Wonder Girls, Kan Mi Yeon, Hwang Jung Min, Chae Yeon, Kim Dong Wan & Shin Hye Sung (Shinhwa), Son Ho Young, Jang Nara, Wheesung, Jeon Hye Bin, Kim Tae Hee, Han HyeJin, Im Jeong Hee, Kim Yeon Ah, Hong Rok Gi, Yoo Seung Ho, Han Ji Hye, Han Yeong, Battle, JOO, Bae Seul G and Lee Jung Hyun.

“If it was me” by Na Yoon Kwon

As AlShin fans already knew, a few days ago (last Thursday around midnight), while Alex was having his “Blue Night” radio show, a request came in from a text message, and it was address to “Alsooni” (Shinae’s given nickname for Alex from that WGM picnic episode 8), from Shinae. And Alex was like, “Huh?” and I bet he was surprised when the other DJ, Mun Cheon Shik read the text message requesting a song by Na Yoon Kwong, “If it was me”

I tracked down the song, and it turns out that the song was featured in “Prince’s First Love” OST, sung by none other than Na Yoon Kwon. (His voice is amazing! How come I just found out about it now? lol well, better late than never~)

So, this is the song that Shinae requested it, in which DJ Al happily played it for her. And before he played the song, his voice was sooooo sweet~~

Alex in Yoon Do Hyun Love Letter 300th episode

Recently, on the 13th (Friday the 13th), Alex performed his title song, “If it were you” (track 2 from “My Vintage Romance” album) in KBS2 Yoon Do Hyun Love Letter music show. And since this performance is pretty historical and as a beginning of his music activities to promote “My Vintage Romance” (and as a solo artist), I feel like I’ve got to blog about this. I mean, it’s ALEX for goodness sake. LOL. MY GOSH, the guy certainly can sing ANY tune whatsoever. *bow*
