Kim Hyun Joong, “I want to retire after making 22 billions…”
In a recent interview with “Singles” magazine, this popular leader of SS501, Hwang Buin’s hot, younger hubby talks about dating older women and how he’s changed because of his role in MBC popular corner “We Got Married”
In this interview, he said that after he came on the “We Got Married” show, and being Hwangbo’s younger husband, his whole perception about women have changed. In specific, he used to think that dating a 20-year-old woman will be the perfect fit for him, but now, dating an older woman like Hwangbo is perfectly fine with him. He said, “As long as there is love, age difference does not matter.”
And unlike his hidden charms that can captivate the whole audience, Kim Hyun Joong claimed himself to be someone who can’t really do well in front of a woman (that he likes). That’s why he hoped that in front of his female fans, he can at least be sincere and show them his sincerity.
Hyun Joong seems to be exactly like how he is on the show, though we know his character might be ‘designed’ a bit, but his 4-dimensional character, his charms and ‘craziness’ (lol) seem to be exactly like who he is. And from this interview, it seems like Hwangbo really changed his mind about older women. (Go, Hwangbo!) Haha. Can’t wait to see their wedding picture photoshooting on the next airing of “We Got Married” (god-knows-when. In two weeks? sigh~)
“HwangBo & Shinae, a prank test for their husbands…”
On tonite’s episode of MBC Sunday Night “We Got Married”, as we saw from the preview (and also the official statement from MBC), HwangBo and Shinae are pulling such a stunt on their hubby. I couldn’t believe how believable both of them can be, and it was indeed a successful prank.
Phew. Whatta test of patience!
(Alex passed it with flying colors though. And Hyun Joong is just too adorable hahaha)
Last night, I was bored and decided to rewatch last week’s episode 20 again. Here are some captures of their beach honeymoon vacation with my fave couple #3, JoongBo :)
Hwang Bo, “Envious of Alex-Shinae couple, because they’re more experienced…”
On last night’s episode of “We Got Married” (Episode 20, the Summer Special part 1), Hyun Joong-Hwang Bo couple spent the summer vacation together at the Busan beach along with our beloved Alex-Shinae couple. But Hwang Bo is envious of how the romantic and skillful Alex is bringing such a romantic atmosphere for Shinae, since she said it feels differently when dealing her ’shil lang’ Hyun Joong, the kid groom. (I can’t blame Hwang Bo for this. Haha.)
“Don’t talk to other girls…”, Hwang Bo warned Hyun Joong when they first arrived at the beach. (*lol? Not sure why the article brought this up*) As Hyun Joong didn’t really prepare any special events for this vacation, Hwang Bo can’t help feeling jealous of Shinae when Alex, of course, booked the hotel room with the gorgeous beach view for the four of them.
(I can’t believe he booked it himself. But yes, he did! or so they made him be the one who booked the room himself. Either way, I just take it as ‘Alex booked the friggin huge penthouse room!’ keke).
Knowing this, of course, Shinae was very impressed and very happy. Her bright smile, and even her eyes were twinkling and drown in happiness. (Episode 20 is indeed a great beginning to AlShin)
While Hwang Bo is still learning to understand her hubby better, she said, “Alex can make a woman feels good and comfortable…” which is what her younger groom is apparently lacking of, according to her. (Aww, poor Hwang Bo. But I can see how Hyun Joong has brought her tons of happiness, hehe. She always cracks up whenever he says something funny/amusing)
Last night’s episode, the Summer Vacation part 1 will be continued next week as they continue to spend a pleasant, yet not without DRAMA, summer vacation.

Though I’m not a big fan of this “We Got Married” weekend show on MBC, and hardly watch it every week after Alex and Shin Ae left the show last month, Hyun Joong and Hwangbo are starting to catch my attention now. Especially after watching the clip on how they first met (on the episode after Alex & Shin Ae’s exit, this two replaced them on the spot). Though Hwangbo and Hyun Joong are the noona-dongsaeng couple (Hwangbo is 6 years older than him), despite of their age differences, to me they’re the most handsome couple in the show. Hehe…
OK, just a little background about this ‘reality’ show, each couple is paired up by the producer, and they act like a married-couple on-screen And like the rest of them on the show, Hwangbo and Hyun Joong also got their own place to live as a married couple. I searched for pictures, and found some images of their new home instead. So gorgeous.
And found the clip of when they first moved in and Hyun Joong played on the piano (he seems to have a special gift in playing the instruments.. piano and guitar, and his singing voice is not bad either)
