Kingdom of the Wind continues to capture my attention for this week. Episode 17-18 this week, we finally have Muhyul as the 3rd wangja (prince) of Goguryeo. And from the captures above, it’s when Muhyul finally said that he’ll stop running around, escaping his fate, and keeping his promise to Yeon to keep by her side and protect her. Awwww. Love the 2nd picture from the top A LOT. =)
Can’t wait to see ’till Yeon becomes his concubine, though I’m not expecting too much from Muhyul’s queen since Yeon is from Buyeo, and she literally can’t be his queen =( being loved by a prince doesn’t necessary a bad thing though, keke.
To those of you who are watching KBS2 sageuk drama, Kingdom of the wind (starring Jumong’s Song Il Guk), this picture above should be familiar to you. Though he has his ‘modern’, rockish-look with that long hair, Jung Jin Young is, to me, a one hot curly ahjussi, I mean, king. ^_^
(and if you don’t believe me, watch episode 1. Just 1 episode of KOTW, and you’ll see what I mean. lol)
They were supposed to be each other’s ’shadow’ during those hellish days at the Black Shadows’ camp. But fate tells them differently, and now us viewers are left hanging to see how these two will become the best enemies, or the best rivals when their time is up.
As predicted before, the ever talented musical genius Wheesung got the honor of singing Muhyul & Yeon’s love theme song for KBS2 epic drama “Kingdom of the Wind” OST. He is known as the musical genius and composer of a few popular artists named today (DBSK, Shin Hye Sung, SHINee, etc.)
The song (Track 3) was composed by Park Geun Tae and written by Kang Eun Kyung. The producers of the original soundtrack said that the song has been getting a favorable response from both K-pop fans and drama fans ever since it first aired on September 18.
(Was it on Episode 4? When Muhyul sneaks in to see Yeon in action, helping the sick. Very mesmerizing scene and of course, Wheesung’s voice makes all the difference… hehe… that song just caught my ears right on =)
Today, the whole soundtrack has been unleashed and as predicted, I love every single bits and pieces of it. Awesome OST + Wheesung’s powerful vocal, what possibly can go wrong? :)

New couple in the houz.
Muhyul (played by Song Il Gook) really is mesmerized by Yeon (played by Choi Jung Won) in KBS2 new sageuk (historical) drama, Kingdom of The Wind. Very memorable, strong plot and storyline, and plus, the soundtrack is amazing. Close to MBC Legend OST, but the best thing about this one is that it ain’t no fantasy. The history is real, and that’s why it’s fascinating.
Looks like I’m totally mesmerized by this series, hehe! Will talk more about it and plus, the soundtrack (Love theme song for Muhyul & Yeon) is possibly sung by Wheesung. Gotta find more info about it. But yeah, very solid track also. Everything about this drama is just simply… AMAZING.
