Lee Hana & Sweet Sorrow met again in Lee Hana’s Peppermint

Lee Hana and each member of Sweet Sorrow share a special bond. On April 10, they appeared as Lee Hana’s Peppermint 2nd guest. Lee Hana said that they have this special bond since Sweet Sorrow performed one of the theme songs of SBS drama, “Alone In Love”, which also Lee Hana’s debut drama back in the heyday.

During their talk, Lee Hana requested them to sing this song on the fly, and boy, they’re amazing. I got goosebumps all over listening to their voice. The vocal harmonizing, the volume, everything is at their right ‘pitch’ and emotions. Simply wonderful.

She came on the show not too long ago, and I thought she would be doing it for at least a year or so. But yeah, I guess for “Triple”, she wouldn’t be able to juggle two shows at the same time.

After going on the show for 6 month, actress Lee Hana had to get off the Peppermint show on April 17.  Part of the reason why is because her upcoming drama, MBC “Triple” directed by Coffee Prince PD will be airing in two months.

According to KBS, as a part of the spring reorganization, KBS2 TV “Lee Hana’s Peppermint” had to be cancelled, and the following music program after that will be hosted by Yu Hui Yeol.  The singer made his first debut 16 years ago and now he’s selected as the new MC.

Yu Hui Yeol has agreed to be the new MC, though he thinks it’ll be a burden to replace Lee Hana’s Peppermint show.   “But at the same time, I’m excited to do this show,” when he’s asked about the new program KBS has in stored for him.

This new program is planned to combine both the old “Yoon Do Hyun’s Love Letter” format and “Lee Hana’s Peppermint”, but the fixed idea hasn’t been emphasized yet.

Lee Hana expressed, “I feel so happy but at the same time I know my limit. I think it’s the right time to get off.”  Well, Lee Hana, you’ll be missed, somewhat – by some people. And I’m personally excited to see the new music show by Yu Hui Yeol, broadcasting in 2 weeks, on April 24.

Gu Hye Sun showed off her hidden singing and piano playing skills on last night’s episode of Lee Hana’s Peppermint

Broadcasted on Friday, March 6, Lee Hana’s Peppermint invited some guest singers like Fly To The Sky, Big Bang’s Seungri, Yurisangja 유리상자, and Gu Hye Sun.

After that special piano performance @ Gu Jun Pyo’s birthday party, we all know that she really has awesome skills in playing the piano. Before her debut, Gu Hye Sun went through some training to become a singer, but then she got offers instead to be an actress. The audience’s applause indicated such positive response for her as a singer, playing her very own composed song on the piano. Gu Hye Sun admitted, “I have this stage fright for about 10 years… but ever since, I tried to overcome it, and after 10 years of stage-fright, I’m glad I’ve overcome it.”

(I haven’t heard Fly To The Sky’s performance yet, but according to this news, the audience gave such a hot response to their performance. WOOT~)

Fly To The Sky @ Lee Hana’s Peppermint Episode 15 090306

CLOSERRRRR ^_^ this is indeed, HOT~ ^^;;

I read the news last night, but was too tired to post a blog entry (and actually, Mondays and Tuesdays are nothing but BOF galore, so yeah,… Lee Min Ho mania session lol)

So excited to see this one though! Lately, Lee Hana’s Peppermint has invited some of my favorite singers. So it’s really note-worthy. Gu Hye Sun & Seung-ri (Big Bang) is scheduled to appear on the show, March 6. Not sure if this is the same episode as Fly To The Sky, but maybe not. I’ll have to check if FTTS is going to appear this Friday.

It’s reported that Gu Hye Sun, based on her excellent performance on yesterday’s episode, she will have a duet with Seung-ri, and I’m hoping she’ll have a showcase of her piano playing skill also while we’re at it. Lee Hana’s Peppermint has picked two of watch-worthy guest-stars, so I’ll be sure to tune in~ :)

This is the Korean version of Craig David’s Insomnia, as stated in the interview last October. Craig David personally handpicked Wheesung to sing the Asian version of his song, “Insomnia”. Kinda random, but after listening to Wheesung’s version, I like this version better than the original. Hohoho. Wheesung expressed,”I’ve always been a fan and respected Craig David as an artist and musician. Therefore I poured my heart and soul to do justice for this song. It is a huge honor to be able to sing the same song as Craig David’s Insomnia.” Of course it is a huge honor. Craig David is like… awesomely talented artist.

Wheesung also scheduled to appear on Lee Hana’s Peppermint this Friday, Feb 20th.
